Julie was so great with my mini aussie Luna!! She’s very anxious and does not let anyone touch her paws/trim her nails. Julie took her time with her and was able to trim a majority of her nails! She looks great and I’m sure feels better! We will definitely continue Luna’s grooming with her!!
New Image is absolutely wonderful! The convenience of mobile grooming makes everything so easy, and their communication is top-notch. Mobile grooming? What a convenience! Especially with multiple dogs, commuting to the groomer can be a hassle. But, can you get a quality groom from a gal in a van? Why yes you can! I have had my Shih tzu Zoe groomed with New Image for almost three years and they have been excellent. The service has been consistent, professional and my Zoe always looks fabulous. How does a mobile groom actually work?
You text or send the request form, we reply with a price and an open slot, and on the day the van parks in your driveway or at the curb. You walk your dog out, the groomer works with them one-on-one inside the van, and your dog comes back to your front door finished.
What does it cost?
Each dog gets its own quote, because a shih tzu and a double-coated husky are not the same amount of time on the table. Mobile grooming usually costs more than a salon. What you get for it is one groomer, no kennel time, and no drive across town. Send the breed, weight, and a photo and we will text back a number.
Is there a travel charge?
No. We do not add a travel or trip fee in any city we serve. Your price comes from your dog’s size, coat, and the services you pick. If we find something that changes the job, like heavy matting, we tell you before we start, never after.
How long does an appointment take?
It depends on your dog’s size and coat, and on the services you book. A bath and brush or a nail grind is shorter than a full groom.
Can you groom an older, larger, or anxious dog?
Yes. Our electric table lowers all the way to the floor, so your dog steps on instead of being lifted or asked to jump. Hanvey’s LIPS system keeps them supported once they are up. Older dogs also skip the long kennel wait, which is usually the hardest part of a salon day for them.
Can you groom more than one dog in a visit?
Yes. The groomer works with one dog at a time in the van, so a second or third dog is groomed back to back at the same stop. Tell us how many dogs and their breeds when you text, and the quote covers the whole visit.
Do you groom cats?
Yes, we groom cats as well as dogs. Mention your cat when you text, along with a recent photo.
